With Fall fast upon us, the Rex Fleming Players are gearing up for another wonderful season. Some upcoming events include the first Play In A Day of the 2015/16 school year on September 5th. There we will announce the rest of our season. Be there!
The Rex Fleming Players at Houston Baptist University are proud to announce their Christmas production of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry. Join us for an evening of nostalgia, fun, and the ever-important reminder that life—with all its hardships, heartaches, and sacrifice—truly is wonderful! Come enjoy the spectacle of a live band, live sound effects, and the lost art of radio drama. Be reminded of the love in your life, the memories of this classic American piece, and the importance of an angel’s wings.
Produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc. (www.playscripts.com) Tickets available at the door or online at http://www.hbu.edu/RFPtickets. $10, and $5 for students/faculty with ID, seniors, and children 12 and under.
The Rex Fleming Players is the theater organization at Houston Baptist University. Working with the university and the community, we wish to entertain others with our talents to the best of our ability. We allow total student involvement in terms of producing original student written plays, student directors, and student actors with guidance from a professor adviser. The Rex Fleming Players also promotes friendship and camaraderie among students of several different majors and classifications.
This semester has been great for the Rex Fleming Players! We have a new adviser, Jesse GrothOlson, and a steady core of officers.
